George F. Thompson, age 54, native Bay Cityan, died at Veteran’s Hospital, Dearborn. Funeral and internment will be held in Detroit.
Born in Bay City, son of the late J.W. Thompson, Bay City contractor. Graduated from St. James High School, served in the Navy in World War One, returned home to make his home in Detroit where he served as a representative of an insurance company. Surviving are his widow, Loretta Hogan Thompson, a daughter, June of Detroit, and two sisters – Mrs. C.A. Mitchell and Miss Nellie Thompson, both of Bay City.
