You really go me going with you letter about Thompson HA. When I saw the names of
George and Nellie on your list bells started to go off. Unfortunately, after I
checked my list, the names did not add up. BUT, I'm sending them along to you, maybe
another name will look familiar to you. Most of my family comes for the Port
Huron area.

Looking for my ggrandfatherWILLIAM HORACE THOMPSON born 3-28-1843 in Scotland. Stories
told is at 12 he stowed away on a ship to the states and we have a blank till the Civil
War we believe he joined in N.Y. and again nothing till he married Elmiranda Johnson on
7-12-1873 in Manistee Co Mi. Can any one help fill in our missing years? We know he lived
in Michigan from 1873 till he died in Grand Rapids in 1915. Their children were
