Marriage vows were exchanged by Miss Rita Rose Podoski and FatherMichael Louis McCann of St Luke's Episcopal Church on Saturday at StLuke's. Bishop Charles T Gaskell of the Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukeeofficiated at the ceremony. A reception followed at the church.

The bride, who lived at 4071 S. 35th Street is the daughter of Mr andMrs. Andrew Podoski, Pound, Wis. McCann of 3725 E Denton Ave, StFrancis, is the son of Wilfred McCann, Bay City, Mich and the late MrsMcCann.

After a wedding trip to upper Michigan, the couple wil live inMilwaukee

Mrs McCann was graduated from Marillac College, St Louis, MO. McCannwas graduated from Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant and theEpiscopal Theological Seminary, Lexington, Ky.Deceased Name: Michael L. McCann

Bay City , Michigan Dr. Michael L. McCann was escorted into Glory Landon Thursday April 30, 2009 at Brian's House at the age of 65 years.Michael was the son of the late Winfred and Geraldine (McKay) McCann .He was born May 31, 1943 in Bay City . Dr. Michael McCann graduatedfrom the Theological Seminary in Kentucky and was ordained as anEpiscopalian Priest in Fort Worth, Texas. He married Rita Rose PodoskiAugust 3, 1974 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. McCann and his wifeministered in England for sixteen years where they started their ownbible school and college. From there they ministered in W. Africa,Poland, Norway, Denmark, Haiti, Hawaii, the Philippines and many partsof America. Through him and his wife Rita, thousands of people gavetheir hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ. He received a Doctorate Degreein Counseling and Administration through California Coast University,a Doctorate Degree in Naturopathy from Westbrook University in NewMexico and was presently working on his 3rd Doctorate in Medicine. Dr.McCann was a minister of the gospel and had started Berea ChristianChurch in Bay City . Dr. McCannhas written over fourteen books inNutrition and various spiritual topics. He has been a great exampleand inspiration to everyone whom he ministered. Dr. McCann will leavea loving faithful wife "by his first marriage" and Berea ChristianChurch.

Surviving besides his wife Rita he leaves three cousins; Nancy(Richard) Easlick, Sally LeClaire, Steven White and several nieces andnephews. He was predeceased by two sisters; Betty Monroe and MarleneHuntley.

Funeral Service will take place Monday, May 4, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. atIn His Presence Ministries (4521 Monitor Rd. Bay City , MI. 48706).Pastor Michael B. Baranek will officiate with burial in Heavenly RestCemetery. Friends may call at the Squires Funeral Home on Sunday from2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and at the church on Monday after 10:00 a.m. Thoseplanning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Dr. Jack VanImpe Ministries.
